The White Tree Band is a creative events business offering world-class live music, photography and film under the one roof. We have the most talented young freelancers working with us right around Australia. When it comes to The White Tree Band, our model allows you to hand pick your preferred male and/or female singers, and customise the band size and instruments that appeal to you. This is particularly exciting for Jewish weddings where energy and entertainment on the dance floor are a must!

To fit with the theme of Jewish weddings, our line up is often booked as a 6 - 9 piece band featuring full brass section and Latin percussion to create real wow-factor.

We also understand the importance of family when it comes to Jewish weddings. As such, a good band must be able to play a mix of old school classics as well as a healthy dose of modern Top 40/Triple J Bangers. It's our goal to get ALL age groups up on the dance floor rocking out to the band. This is something which we are renowned for, and something which we take great pride in.

As all of our musicians have come through the Conservatorium of Music (primarily studying jazz), we are primed and ready to tackle challenging and diverse music styles...such as the Hora! This is something we absolutely love performing, and in our opinion, it makes so much sense to kick a wedding off with a huge bang. It sets the tone for the rest of the night.

We are perfectly comfortable covering the hora ourselves (including the vocals), or, we are also more than happy to jump in and act as the rhythm section for a hora singer specialist who you book direct. We have worked regularly with singers such as Isser Feiglin, Tull Kidron, Jonathan Zion, Adam Moses, Jonathan Skovron and many more.

We are also happy to perform and sing the hora set ourselves, but we can only perform a 15min - 20min hora set if we take this on. We charge a fee of $700 to sing/perform the hora. Here is an example of The White Tree Band (7 piece) performing Hava Nagila:

In addition to our live music, we are also experts at creatively and candidly capturing Jewish wedding films and photography. There are a lot of traditions and key moments that occur during a Jewish wedding so it's vital you have camera crew who know what's about to unfold.
